Covid-19 Updates

It is with a heavy heart that the Grand Lake Yacht Club Board of Directors has decided to cancel Sailing School 2020 in its usual form due to the operational, medical, and legal considerations of running the school.  While we are certain that our students, instructors, and sailing school parents will be extremely disappointed by this news, we want you to know that we are working hard to find creative solutions to keep our youth sailing this summer.

The Grand Lake Yacht Club was incorporated in May of 1902 with a membership of four. Two of them - Harry Bryant, Richard Crawford Campbell - competed in the club's later that summer, dueling in rowboats outfitted with homemade sails. The members elected Bryant the club's first commodore.
