No more than three races will be sailed consecutively.  More than three races will be sailed on one day only if a fleet is behind schedule.  Eleven races will be attempted in the scow classes.  Seven races will be attempted for the lasers.  The minimum number of races for a series is two. The low point series scoring system will be used.

*Safe, successful, and effective race management requires participation of the racing sailors on the Race Committees throughout the summer.  Race Committee assignments are found in boldface next to each racing day.  Assigned skippers must provide themselves or an experienced replacement, plus the number of people listed, if any.  These individuals shall report to the Club thirty minutes prior to the first scheduled sequence with life jacket and foul weather gear.  Duties will be completed when racing ends for the day, scores have been tabulated, and equipment stowed.  Lunches will be provided on long race days.  Trading of assignments is permitted with notification of the PRO for the series or regatta.  Each skipper has the responsibility to fulfill their assignments.  The Vice Commodore must be notified in advance of any emergent need for replacement.  The unexcused failure to provide Race Committee personnel shall result in the loss of any discard that might have been used in calculating the 2011 summer results.
